whats leaking?
whats leaking?
hi guys,
anyone know whats causing this "leak", its on both sides under the rear seat. It seems to be coming from a round "pin" in the floor board under both rear seats, there's no dripping, just alot of moisture and its all over the torque arm at the axel.
see picture.
thanks for any ideas

If it's the rear pinion seal, it will leaking where the driveshaft's rear u-joint connects to the rear-end. Tranny seal will be coming from the driveshaft's front u-joint connects to the tranny. If it's coming through the floorboard, it's coming from inside the car--spilled pop, leaking t-top, etc...
leaky
the car has been garaged for 4 months +, i dont drive it, i work on it. trying to restore to showroom condition + some.
its a 92 rs /305 tbi/ auto the tranny was rebuilt/replaced with a gm reduild unit from a dealer 2 yrs ago. So it can't be water from the ttops .
