36mm and 23mm Sway Bar Combo
I put a 36mm hollow front sway bar on my car and I was wondering if there is any point to for me to change over to 24mm rear sway bar from the stock 23mm that is already on the car? Is the 1mm really going to make that much of a difference?
Thanks

it isn't a necessity, alot of people who auto-x prefer the smaller rear bar.
does it make a diffrence, yes. but depending on how you drive your car, and what you use it for, the 23mm bar MAY be a better choice

My car is used as everyday transportation in the summer and garaged in the winter. I'm not into autocrossing but I do like to take a spirited drive every now and then. My goal is for the car to handle better in the twistys. When I figure out which one to go with I will be install poly bushings and endlinks.
Thanks again

well i can't tell you Exactly how it will handle, or if you driving style is such that you will like it, i would do this,
drive it with that sway bar, if you feel it understeers more than you like or want it to, then upgrade to the larger bar and that will eleminate some of the understeer.

It depends on your driving style, whether it be soft or hard on the gas.
Do put the 36mm front bar on regardless.
If you are heavy on the gas, go for the thinner bars (18mm or 21mm), which will be easier to control on the gas (car will understeer if driven normally. If you are average or a cruiser, go for the thicker bars (23mm or 24mm), which will be more suited to that style.
Be forewarned, if you like to get on the gas and if you have a big rear bar, the car will oversteer big-time (***-out).
