I'm a Bilstien guy myself. I hear good things about Koni, but I hear more good things about Bilstiens.

FWIW, the Stage 2 suspension SLP offers on the Firehawks includes all Bilstien products.

Adjustable Koni's only if you know what you are doing with the individual settings otherwise stick with bilsteins

I can't decide on which one's I want to install with an Eibach ProKit on an 83TA. Could you maybe explain a bit as to why you like the Bilsteins better after having the Koni Yellows.

Bilstein shock/struts rock. Good for street, not too harsh. I think the koni's woulda been too harsh for my ride.

koni's were extremely solid...........bilsteins are solid. but also smooth it's hard to explain. but on a hard street surface as well as a track and even the usuall 1/4 drag they work great on my car. i absolutely love them and would only consider removing them for coilovers just so i could have serious adjustment for racing.

for a street car they are the best and they work equally great when demanding so. can't say enough good about them!
