rear ride height

is there anyway to get anymore height out of your rear with stock replacement springs? maybe bigger spring insolators or doubleing em up or somethin? any ideas? ed?

you can put in Gabriel Sky jackers. they are air shocks. easy install.

MOOG Cargo coils will raise the rear approx 2-3", you can get those at your local parts store.

You could also get a cheap air bag system from Summit or somewhere like that. I had some on my old 82 RS with a v6 and I could raise it and lower it about 1" either way. Wasnt the best solution, but it helped. Just a thought.

Don't bother with air shocks, they'll just punch the sheet metal out at the top shock mount even faster than it already breaks out in these cars.

Maybe I should clarify: I was talking about the bags that go inside your springs. I wouldnt want to use air shocks just for the reason that you said. Maybe with a lot of reinforcement, but not stock. T

yeah b4 that was my first try.. hehe i already have em.. only need about another inch or so... maybe i'll give airbags a try
