will a thirdgen power steering box fit in a g-body?

I've got an '81 el camino. I know alot of guys with f-bodys upgrade their normal steering boxes with a quicker ratio one from a "performance package" f-body. First question is- are these parts interchangeable from f-bodys to g-bodys? Next question is should I get new, rebuilt, or junkyard? Last question is- how would i get the tighter "2-turn from center" box? From what I've heard the best way might be to go to a place like pep boys and tell them I have a performance package 92 z28, and have them give me a rebuilt unit. Thanks in advance

You'll need to use the G-body pitman arm but the box will bolt right up.
