Here's a Question for ya

Has anyone thought of IRS (independent rear suspension) on a third gen? What would it take to make such a set up work. Would a Corvette IRS work...I hear that the short lower control arms on corvette IRS set up only works well on corvettes. I have an article of "Super Chevy" that has an IRS form www.heidts.com that they say is universal. It's a very attractive unit but I dont think it would work in a third gen. If anybody has any info on this subject please respond. Thanks everyone.

do a search, there was a VERY long thread about this a couple of months ago.

i think most people descided it was way to much work, for no real performance gain.
