sub and cage
[ i plane to instal a sub frame on my therd gen and a cage my ?
is can i weld on the sub- 2 post up rigt on both side to be insert trou the flor in the rigt position and use that as post for cage]

most likely not, the two parts won't meet where you need them to. even nhra doesn't require a cage or roll bar to weld to anything more than the floor pan with a 6x6x.125 plate at the bottom of each tube.
