Replaced Manifold Brakes now shot

I just got done putting on a new TPI base, an accel . THe car is running O.k , but thats not whats bothering me. THe brakes are now almost completly useless, making the car not safe to drive. Did I disconnect my vaccum on accident? Where would I look to see if this is so?

any help would be great

check the hose going to the brake booster...would be pretty obvious if missing....make sure the hose going to it is in good condition as well....

No brakes

You could have a serious vacuum leak causing a low vacuum situation. spray some carb cleaner sparingley where there is a gasket and listen for a change in idle. good luck. Oh did you install the check valve for the brakes backwards?
