brake "problem"

Last weekend me and my buddies did a rear swap for my car. I found a '88 t/a that had a borg warner 3.27 rear with discs and aluminum driveshaft etc. The only big problem i came across was the brakes.. first we bleeded the brakes offcouse and couldn't get the brake pedal frim enough.. after 4 hours though the night we finaly got some results by removing the piston from the brake balancer. now the only problem is that the brake pedal seems too soft.. the brakes work fine but is this normal and is there any way of getting the same feel as with the rear drums?? w/o replacing the master cylindar???
Other that that the car drives much better that with the POS GM 2.71..

BTW does anybody know how much of a weigth loss the swap gave me?? the 9bolt rear and aluminum driveshaft are much lighter that the oem ***t. plus the new driveshaft was better balanced. alot. no vibration.

I'll be putting up pics in the near future..

If your car came with drums in the back, you need to get a proportioning valve from a four wheel disc car, that should fix your problem.
