What shocks/struts?
Some of you might recognize my whinng about how badly my car rides/sqeaks/rattles...
I am finally pissed off enough to do something about it. I had a passenger the oter day who remarked that my car is the worst riding car he has ever been in. It can literally give you a headache on anything but a glass smooth road.
It has new Monroe Sensa Tracks onthe back--and ones on front a 2 years old.
I think they are crap--you can barely pussh the car down a cm and it rebounds really fast.
Talking with my service advisor (who is a former GM mech) he reccomends softer shocks.
So (I don't drive a crap about cornering) what should I get??

Get the KYBs. Gr-2 struts and Gas-A-Just for the rear. Does the job great and doesnt cost the Earth. Just installed them and love them. btw I ordered them to be sent to me in Australia and they are well worth the shipping costs.

Thanks all though now with all taht info I'm alittle confused.
The KYB GR2 Struts and KYB Gas-a-just shocks
seem to be the ticket.
I certainly hope they are better then Monroe Sensa Tracks--anyone have these POS?
So, the KYBs would be decent for comfort?
My shocks rebound really fast and they are HARD to push down.

I've got the same problem. I don't know if you guys have ever driven around N.Y.C. - but it really sucks!
The roads are **** in New York which makes driving any high performance vehicle a nightmare. I definitely have to change the shocks in my 87 GTA cause they're making me lose the fillings in my teeth about now. I am seriously considering KYB's, but I'm worried about the cornering. Do Bilsteins give a softer ride like the KYB's or are they more like the Koni's?
I'm running Koni's in my 70 Formula with Southside bars and I need a freakin crash helmet cause I'm literally airborn everytime I hit a bump.

The KYBs will give firm but a little bit of a soft ride and you wont have trouble at all with the cornering. I find them very precise in the response area.
