Will 4th Gen. shocks a struts work on a 3rd. Gen.?TIA

 

I'm wondering this as well.

How about the springs too in conjunction with those parts? I know the springs are a direct stand alone replacement so I'd assume the others are as well as long as the mounts are the same.

You can get all the parts virtually new from SLP really cheap. I'd be worried about all the 4th gen parts being too soft, the 4th gen suspension sucks compared to ours IMO. The cars have WAY too much body roll unless you have the SLP Bilstein package...

 

i believe u can use 4th gen rear shocks and springs, but the fronts are different.

 

Well yeah, the 4th gen's use a different front suspension set up than the 3rd gens. It's actually a better design.

 

4th gens use shocks in the front not strut'.
