I bought MOOG ball joints for my '87 T/A from a local place for $29 each. I am not sure if thats good or not but www.summitracing.com also has them. You'd have to call. They quoted me a price of $182.00 for both inner/outer tie rod ends and adj. sleeves. I didn't want to spend that much and got Perfect Circle parts instead from Pep Boys for about $35 cheaper. The guy at the counter said they are made by MOOG under that name for them.

I just replaced the innner and outer tierod ends, drag link, idler arm and adjuster sleeves with TRW parts from Advance Auto, total came to $226.37. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! THe old stuff was so worn out.

Trans Am#5, I've heard that Moog makes Perfect Circle but I've never found any evidence to support that. I always thought the Dana Corporation made Perfect Circle but I'm not entirely sure.

O'Reilly Autoparts and Carquest sell Moog for a pretty good price by the way. At least down here they do.

When I saw the box the guy gave me at Pep Boys, it said Dana Corporation. I said it doesn't say Moog and the guy replied to me that they are distributed through Dana but are a Moog part. I am not sure, I am just going by what he said. I'm sure they'll be fine for my aplication. They look very much like the lower ball joints in construction though.
