I thought these cars all came with a rear stabilizer bar?
Maybe not??? Maybe it's just a TBI thing? I don't know much about those, I only mess around with the performance ones.
It will handle better if anything. It will keep it from understeering so bad. Cars with a front bar only put too much weight on the outside front tire in a turn, which makes the car not want to turn, but rather keep going in a straight line.
Too much rear bar, and you can create the opposite problem, where the rear has too little traction, and the car wants real bad to swap ends when you go around an expressway ramp or something too fast. That's probably impossible to do with any combination of stock parts though, as long as ther is a front installed.
