What's your opinion?

I just bought an 89 formula350 with the ws6 suspension. I want to start making power upgrades first but at what point should i start to upgrade the suspension or will the ws6 suspension suffice if i just replace the old bushings with poly bushings? I would like to know what some of u guys think since i am not familiar with the ws6 suspension and what it will handle.

Thanks:hail:

Pretty much everyone agrees that SFC's are a must as far as suspension mods go to make the chassis stronger and eliminate rattles. I don't have 'em yet but am in the process of purshasing.

The stock WS6 suspension is pretty good. Only problem is that its old, so like you said bring it back up to specs with new bushings and whatnot. The springs might be sagging as well, might need to be replaced. I say if you brought the stock WS6 suspension back to life it should be fine for bolton power upgrades and such. But if you're talking major motor or F/I power upgrades, then you might want to put some more thought into the suspension (and brakes for that matter). I also agree that you should do SFC's. Your tires will also have alot to do with how the car handles, junk tires can kill the handling of any suspension setup. New bushings, New springs (if needed), SFC's, and some sticky tires, and you're good to go.
