Is anyone running Yokohama Avid V4's?
The size I need is 245/50/16. Sears has them on sale for $83 a tire. Does anybody who has them have any opinions: good, bad, wet pavement traction (rain) treadlife? I'd love to hear any opinions.

Eric,
Not sure if this helps, but I recently put some Yokohama AVS Intermediates (215/65/15) ($39 Tirerack closeout) on my 240,000
mile Z28. On a performance note, they are by far the best tire yet, including the OEM Eagle GT's. Wet tractions seems OK. They do ride slightly rougher. I have about 3K on them and tread wear is nominal.

Has anybody had any of these for greater than 20,000 miles who can gauge tread life. They are just for what I consider normal driving with only an occasional burnout or hard corneringer.
I have some Yok AVID H4's if that's any consilation. I havent ridden on them that much (they are on my MG) but the car seems a little better in the corners. I like em', besides they are the best tires I could find for thise tiny MG wheels.
