Anyone with the kenny brown strut brace, please step inside...
I'd like to know if your brace fit, or if it needed modification, and also what runners are on your engine. I'm thinking the problem is with the SLP runners, I'm just trying out my theory though.... thanks.
I had to build a spacer but on on the drivers side (so much for them being made in a jig), it's about 3/4 of and inch thick, sold aluminum cut to match and painted to match. Costed about $50. Now it clears my plenum by almost half and inch and I can close my hood just fine. Another guy on here with SLP runners had to do almost the same and he helped me out when I first got the brace...
That kenny brown brace was junk . It one hit on my brake lines , it was 1/4 to far from my firewall . And didnt' fit correctly by my upper strut mounts . I called kenny brown , they told me my frame was bent , but hard to beleave seeing my car hasn't been wrecked.
