braided lines

i am interested in getting braided lines for my 82 firebird but i am having trouble finding the COMPLETE kit. please help me

look in the yellow pages under hydrolic and find someone that makes hoses. lot easier and cheaper that way. might have to use and adapter to get from bubble flare to double flare but other than that you can get the lines made.

You won't find a complete kit for your '82. The fittings on our cars tend to be unique and many shops will not have the correct fittings for fabbing lines.

A shop I use has taken my factory lines, removed the end fittings, brazed nipples onto them and then gone ahead and custom made braided lines for me. That's the easiest route.

The '82 thru '88 rear disc cars require a 4 line kit and to my knowledge no company makes one. The '89 and later cars require a 5 line kit and some companies do offer it.

Russell took the easy way out and only offers the 3 line kit so it will work on any thirdgen F-body. You then have to find alternatives for getting the remaining rear axle line(s) made.
