broken torque arm

well I went to the track today for the first time this year and of coarse something had to go wrong. The first pass I made my car felt strange when I launched but I didn't thing to much about it because this was the first time I had gone this year and I hadn't gotten used to how to launch my car. The next time I went to run I was warming up the tires and I here a bang and a clunk in the rear, I thought my rear end had just let go but when I got out and looked under the car I found the torque arm had broken where it attaches to the rear housing. When I got home I decided it was time to upgrade to an adjustable torque arm and I ordered the spohn unit. What kind of differance will I notice with this piece over the factory one in the 60' times.

well I havent been to the drag strip for like...a year or so. But anyways after I put the torque arm the traction increased like crazy! It also got rid of a whole lot of wheel hop that I used to have.
