C4 Corvette caliper carrier = 1LE carrier?

I did a search but didn't really come up with anything.

I'm just curious if the calipers and caliper carriers from a C4 Corvette could be used with a 12" 1LE rotor. I doubt they're exactly the same but maybe similar enough that they could work. Worst case is a set of custom adapter brackets would have to be made to attach them to the spindles.

Anyone ever attempted this?
