I have 95 z71 silverado 4x4 I would like to pre- run my truck by tighting the torsion bars. So I went to ask an alignment place and I was told that I need to take out a Spacer and I was not sure what spacer he was talking about. And he was ask $400 to do it. I think he is trying to rip me off. Do you guys know what spacer he was talking about? Is it easy to do the whole process by my self? Thanks For any help!

My ranger has torsion bars. The lift you can get / get rid of with them is only by twiting the bars themselves. I would ask around because even if they is a spacer, which I don't know if they is, I wouldn't eer pay $400 for something it would take him maybe, and I stress MAYBE take him up to an hour, but not more then to complete.
