Maybe its lack of sleep or maybe I'm just a moron but this has me slightly confused..... I'm getting ready to order lug nuts and wheel studs for a set of Weld Draglites I recently bought.

The wheel studs I see are made by Moroso: 12mm x 2 1/2 in. thread, .505 in. diameter knurl, press-in, wheel studs. Are these long enough? I would go with ARP ones but they're out of stock.

Now what lug nuts do I get? I see:
1.310 in. shank length, 4-12 mm x 1.25 right-hand thread, closed end chrome lug nuts, centered washers

1.310 in. shank length, .687 in. shank diameter, 12 x 1.5 mm right hand thread, closed ends with centered washers, lug nuts

I'm assuming 12 x 1.5mm but I'd really like to make sure.
Thanks,
Chris

You don't want shank stlye lugnuts for any stock type F-body rims. You need Acorn stlye open end lug nuts 12mmx1.5 pitch.

Here's a link that will help you: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=156235

How do you figure Weld Draglites are stock type rims?

It was late- I missed that brushing over your first paragraph- I saw studs- I saw lug questions- I looked down at your sig- didn't see rims there- And just posted that stock F-bodies run acorn style not shank- sorry.

At least I gave you the proper 1.5 pitch

I just got my draglites from Summit last week and they almost lost my order to Jegs. I asked what wheel lugs I needed and the Summit "tech" said he did'nt know. Kept the order for my rims going anyways, called Jegs and the guy must have sold them before cause he rattled it off right when I asked him, once everything was here they bolted right up no prob. I almost switched all the wheel studs over to the 3" front and rear with open ended lugs nuts, but think I'll wait till the car has to have them before I go to all that work.

I just ordered the 12mm x 1.5 ones I hope they're right.... I also have very bad luck with any of these tech lines when it comes to stuff like this so I'm taking a slight chance here

Thanks for the help,
Chris

They're the right ones, they're the same one I got. id you order the chrome plugs to fill the unused lugnut holes in the rims? They're only like $5 a pkg/5 and make a big difference, now that everybody I run with has seen em (I was the guienea pig) they all ordered them.
