What is the reason for having struts and springs? In other words, what role do each play? The problem I am having is that the front of my car dips down a lot when riding over bumps on the highway and I hate it. I just got new struts put in by les schwab tire center so of course they aren't anything special. The springs on the car are eibachs which are about 5-6 years old. What do you thing the problem could be? It used to ride really nice but now it just dips down too far and scares me when im really going fast on the highway because it's not staying stiff.

Just my opinion but i think u need kyb's the struts they put on prolly arent stiff enough.
