sub frame connectors

Hey guys i just got a pair of sub frame connectors but i got no hardware and no directions. they are the bolt in type. Does any one have any pictures of them installed and do you think it is ok to weld them in also or instead of bolting them in. What is the diff between bolt in and weld in connectors?

its most likely ok to just weld them.

some buy the bolt in ones and then just weld them later.

what brand are they?

you have to have the suspension loaded, before installing them, at least thats what my spohn sfc's say.

the difference between bolt in and weld in SFC's is just that. bolt in SFC's bolt to the chassis while the weld in ones are welded on heh. Most recommended the welded type because after constant use the holes on bolt on type tend to elongate and don't provide as much rigidity as they once used to. welding will prevent that.

as far as directions, what style SFC are they? Are they the MAC style (weld/bolt directly to the 4 subrame points) or the kinds like Hotckis that weld in much like frame rails?

i figured out how to put them in, except that the passenger side SFC does not fit. It is made to go over the Y pipe but it wont fit between were the bend in the Y pipe is by your feet and the inner side of the rocker panel and the frame rail of the SFC. i plan on waiting untill I get my headers and see if it will fit on that Ypipe. If not some modifications will be needed. Does any one know if the problems will occur with the SFC hitting the Y pipe like rattles and other problems?
