Baer Brakes
I have been thinking about a Bear Racing kit for the rear brakes on my 92. I want the Touring/Track set up they sell. The rear has 12 rotors and single piston calipers. Does anyone know if a 15" steel wheel will mount with those binders installed? I have 17" alloy wheels for daily driving, but have 15" rears for slicks. Anyone know? Thanks.

I hadn't had a chance to mess with that PDF I downloaded, but over on www.baer.com - go under Support | Templates, and select a car, and download / Print the template...
See if that helps, at worst consider this reply a bump back to the top

well considering the touring kit (rear) is identical to the stock 91-92 disc brakes with a slightly .5"larger one piece rotor it shouldn't be too hard to test it out.
i can't fit a 15" rim over my stock brakes like your describing without taking a piece out of my caliper on the stock 11.4 disc size so i really don't think it will fit but crazier things have happened if your wheels has a good size backspacing.
good luck.

Thanks for the info. I really want the Baer rear discs, and I want my 15" slicks. I guess I can't have my cake and eat too. We'll see, I'll get the template from Baer and see if it fits.
the rear setup doesn't look any different then the stock 91-92. so no one will even notice unless you tell them.
if you want the looks like the eradispeed rotors they do have a new touring system coming out very soon that is suppose to replace the current setup. however, your wheels definately won't fit then.
good luck.
