Lowering Thirdgens

I want to lower my trans am but i dont know what i would do about the air dam. The damn thing scrapes on everthing already! What do u guys do when u lower your cars? I thought about maybe a custom air dam that leads the a CAI? Any ideas? Here's a few pics:

If you do not mind having a cooling problem, just remove it. The ground is a problem with lowered cars.

I'd say just leave it on that way you don't have to worry about a cooling problem. Its just a piece of plastic and you don't really see it anyways, who cares if it scrapes.

Well I had that problem when i wanted to lower my car. But when i put in the new springs i put in new shocks and bushing. the stiffness of the new shocks and bushings cleared the problem pretty much up. I am now 1.5 inches lower and dont scrape as much as before. just thought id tell u my experience with this problem.

i just want to lower it 1" all the way around. Can some one photochop my car with a 1" drop? Thanks for the replys.
