1992 F41 means what size sway bars?

I have a 92 RS with the F41 suspension package. I tried looking into old posts, but all I find is info about older models, and I know the option consisted of a different setup in different years. Anyone know what size sway bars my car has? Or maybe how I can measure them accurately? Somehow sticking a metric wrench into the swaybar to measure the sway bar doesn't sound too accurate.

A lot of guys have had success measuring the bars with a Metric Crescent wrench, that get's them real close....:sillylol:

I have a '91 F41 car and mine came with a hollow 34mm up front and a 21mm bar out back. Odds are this is what you have.

So, I know I'm digging up a 2 year old thread, but...

I'd like to know if the 92 F41 package had either 21 or 22MM.

Rich, if you're still around, did you use a 22MM bushing for your application?

I don't have a 22 or 21MM wrench on me, I just know that my bar is bigger than 3/4 and smaller than 7/8, which is 22 if i'm not mistaken.

Thanks.

Just went out & measured mine w/ digital caliper.
Looks like my rear bar is actually 21mm. (front 34mm)
Didn't have such an accurate measuring device before.
Sorry if earlier post caused any confusion.

here you go, sean92: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/faq-...y+bar+size+f41

Just match up the year of your car and the RPO code, which is found in the rear storage compartment in your '92, and possibly in the center console for your 87.

hope it helps.

I've got a set of greasable bushings, sadly theyre 22MM in stead of 21. I'm wondering if I tightened them down enough, if it would work. no 21MM greasable bushings at Autozone
