Prop valve mod ok for DRUMs?
I was thinking about doing the Prop valve mod but I have rear DRUMs. After 43k the shoes are still as thick as new and very little if any brake dust when checked. Pedal firmness is good, e-brake is good, wheel cyl’s rebuilt no leaks, new fluid. When bleeding the rear, fluid doesn't stream out, more like little to almost no pressure. I’m concerned that I’ll go from too little to too much pressure. I’ve read that drums need less pressure to work. Has anyone done the mod for their DRUM car and what were the results?
If it results in too much pressure, can the p/v be cleaned up and reassembled, then shim or cut the spring to find the correct pressure balance?
Also were can you get the plug, is that a Home Depot item?

I have a wilwood PV on my car...I put it in because I converted to disk brakes but later converted back to drum brakes. I have the rear pressure at about 90-95% and it works fine.
hey revlimit how much did the wilwood pv run you I am thinking that I need to do something else since I did the recall kit and put on earls lines and although I have a firmer pedal just no stopping power on my 87 GTA with the iron 4 wheel disks.
