I am going to replace my rear shocks on my 86 T/A since the axle is out and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a good shock absorber to use? Thanks, Brian

Do you just want a cheap replacement that's better than OEM? If so, I think KYB makes a good shock. Obviously Bilstien's came on a few as OEM but they're expensive. If you don't want to worry about them ever again go with the Bilstien HD's. I have them all around on my car and they are great. There are adjustable shocks too but I would only replace the shocks if I were replacing the struts as well.
I've driven in cars with adjustable shocks. They're worth the extra price tag ESPECIALLY if you're driving the car as a daily driver. When you're going on a long highway drive put it on soft, normal driving you'll have to find your happy medium, going to the track put it on stiff.
Just about every replacement shock out there is better than they were 4+ years ago so shop around and search the internet for reviews.
