v6 springs in a v8?
v6 springs in a v8?
any one try this or have info on this...
it should lower the car and give it better weight transfer right??...
give me some imput and pics!..
it would be cheaper to get the v6 springs new than a prokit set...
what do ya think?

I don't know about that when i put the 350 in my bird it was lowered i think a few inches but the handling wasn't all that great it was a bit sluggish. I got a set of V8 springs outta another bird and cut them down about an inch. Handled better so this summer i'm ordering a 2" drop for it and probaly the spindles too.

I had a v6 car with a 350(before I wrecked it), it looked like a drag car with the front end sitting lower than the back. Just becarefull if you do high speed driving, at about 120 the back end would sway back an fourth.

hmmmm not to sure about this cuz i did a v-6 to v-8 swap and i got a pair of iroc-Z front springs that where power costed off e-bay for $20. wll i replaced the one that was broke (driver side) and i still haven't done th tother side so right now i have a V-b spring on my drigver side front and a 6-v spring on my pass. side... i can't tell a diffrent at all in handleing or how the car seats. i'm going to be redoing the front end with WS6 sway bars and then also new shocks and a 1 inch lowering kit.

V6 springs will work fine in a V8. They are softer than the V8 springs, which will give you a better launch. If you want better cornering, etc. Then keep V8 springs.
