How do i jack up my camaro???

May sound like a stupid question but the frame is nothing like my 81 montes. I tryed jackin the camaro up in the back right in front of the axle link thing (cant remember the name of it) but the tires never left the ground.

So my question is how do i jack up my camaro the right way, front and rear? I need to swap the rims and tires on the thing

If you just want to swap tires, you can jack it up from the rear end housing in the back and the front crossmember in front (pneumatic jack required). The standard jackpoints are just below the extreme ends of the doors. You'll see "tabs" where the body panels meet for the jack in your trunk to attach to. But, basically, anywhere on the front crossmember, trans crossmember, rear end, the lower control arms, and anywhere along the subframe, you can put a jack under it.

Or get subframe connectors installed and jack the car from them.
