newbie with brake question

I have an 85 TA that came with a open, drum rear. I'm swapping in a 9 bolt posi disk rear out of a formula(87 I think) w/ 3.23 gears. my question is, do I need to change the master cylinder and/or proportioning valve also?? or will my stock setup be fine?

Yes you will have to swap the master and combo valve, if you do a search on the topic you will find the right set to use.
