I have a 87 GTA parts car any idea what gear ratio they come with ? it was tuned port 5.7 auto trans posi rear and WS6 susp pack

Check the code on top of the passenger side axle just next to the diff. It should have a 3 digit code-

"2HR" or "4HR" = 3.42 posi
"2HQ" or "4HY" = 3.23 posi
"4HB" = 3.08 posi

Borg Warner rears-
"4EW" = 3.45 posi
"4EU" = 3.27 posi

Those are the desiralble rear axle codes for '87 f-body cars.

 

Only rear on 1987 5.7s were Bw 9-bolts with 3:27 gears and required both Limited Slip & rear Disc Brakes.

 

Yes it has the rear disc brakes so it should be a 9 bolt w/3.27 gears ...it also came with a factory aluminum space saver spare which i thought was alittle odd ..are these rare to see ?

I snatched one from a 87' GTA 350 TPI car from a junkyard it came with a posi 9 bolt 3.27 I'm just waiting on Baer Brakes to see if a custom rear kit can be made using my ebrakes on my 92 Firebird with rear drum in back.
