Will 225/50/15's fit on my 7 inch wide rims? It says measured rim width is 7" for the tire, not sure if that's what it means. Thanks

yes the 225's will work. I've run 195's through 235's on my 15x7 wheels but I've heard of others running even bigger (one guy ran 275's!!).

you can run 225/50-15's on your 15x7" rim with no problem and they look real good. imo. i had them onmy car and i like the way it looked cornered pretty well and traction was a problem so i went to a 235/60 setup and i love them

ok i bought my car with 225/50's on her and i go threw tires pretty fast. the tires i hd on there where some pepboy special(crap to be honest), i was looking at getting another set of 225/50's until my friend put some bf good rich ta's on his 16" irocs and i really liked them so i decided to get the 235/60 ta radials. i love them. the change was like night and day. i am now swapping over to a 17"x9.5" rim for svreal reasons (bigger rim/4th gen rear end/new brakes) but the 235/60r15 ta radials where $275 at the time and i only had $300 inmy poket so i gave the guy $280 and he called us even. i'm sure a good se of 225/50's can and will out perform my tires but for the price i have no complaints.
