i will soon be buying new rear tires to fit my 16x8 iroc wheels. this car is my daily driver, and is drag raced occasionally. i am looking for a tire that will provide adequate tread wear for daily driving and something that holds up at the track too. im willing to spend a little extra $$ for a better tire. i dont care about traction in the snow or rain because i wont drive my car in the snow and can slow down in the rain. i would prefer buying 255/50 tires, but there are more options for 245/50 so i will include both in the poll. i heard the firehawks are pretty thin....does anybody have any info on this? please vote for which tire you think would suit my needs best, and post if you have an explanation of why you chose that or why not to choose something else. thanks.

i forgot to include the kuhmo ecsta supra 712 tires in 255/50. just ummm pretend theyre in the poll, but youll have to post to vote for them
