Does anyone have any opinions good or bad about Tokico shocks? Interested in the non adjustable ones. Also what is the difference between the Bilstein HD and the sport's?

Bilstein sport shocks are 1" shorter then the HDs. Bilstein only makes the front struts in HD, even though some places adv them as sport.

 

I have the Tokico Illumina adjustables. I like them. However I don't really push the car in any way really so hard to give a real performance opinion. Check out www.shox.com for the best pricing that I found.

Tokico blues (non adjustables)-7
Koni yellows-10

I ran the Tokico blues on the car for years. When I first lowered it, my daughter was just born (she is now almost 12) I put a little more forgiving performance shock in the car to dampen the heavy springs I put in but to still give a smooth ride- They did great because they do have alot of rebound force. However, I always said from day one that if it were a car that I drove only then I would have definately opted for Koni's.

Daughter is now older and the car has Koni yellows with the adj rebound setting maxed- much much better handling- stiff- but much better- watch those potholes tough, your *** and spine becomes the shock absorbers.
