Spohn torque arm

Looking to get a torque arm for my 89 iroc. I was looking at the Spohn torque arms, and I like that they are a straight bolt on and that it has a drive shaft loop. But, man are they expensive. How do they compare to other torque arms, and are they worth all the money. Is there another aftermarket torque arm that is just as good. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks

I really like all the Spohn products, great quality and price, in my opinion. As for the torque arm, bare in mind that his torque arms come with a trans crossmember to mount the TA to. This moves the front mount off of the transmission and puts in on the frame where it should have been in the first place. When you consider that the price includes the crossmember, adjustable torque arm, and driveshaft loop, if you want it, the price is not easily beat. Look around at some of the other outfits that advertise a similar product. At least two of Spohn's competitors have a product, but it requires welding a crossmember into the car to mount the torque arm. Not exactly a weekend bolt in project. For some it is no biggie, but for others with limited resources and time, it is the compelling difference. I think you will be happy with the Spohn product, they really are first rate.

BTW, No I do not work for or have any affliation with Spohn that I am aware of ...

thanks for the help...I really like the Spohn torque arm a lot, and after looking at other torque arms yesterday that is definitely my first choices. Looks like I will be buy one in the next couple of weeks. Now both replies mention that the torque arm works great with TA, but I have an 89 iroc. I know the TA and camaro are very similar, so it should basically fit the same right???

I have a camaro, like my name says, Z-28. When I used the "TA" it was an abbreviation for Torque Arm. Sorry for any confusion...

Enjoy your torque arm and post what you think after you get 'er in...
