I'll go with the Eicbach Pro,, although they say 1-2 inch this should be enough. I got a v8 and I feel it dropped it a little too much. You must understand that the E-Pro springs are way shorter than your stock. You don't want to go to low because your may encounter other problems ,, like bottoming out, wheels on the wells and so on... If you check thru out the site you will notice that the Pros are the way to go and many are happy with it.. I don't think it will be that much a difference because of your V6..... Check mine out after lower

There's no reason your stock springs would be doing that. Has it always been that way? Someone might've installed high-lift rear springs from another vehicle under your car. You might also have something bent under there. Are the spring perches on the axle bent? Are the springs seated correctly in the upper spring isolator (at top of spring between body and spring)? Are the spring perches facing the right way or were they flipped upside down for some reason? Try going to an alignment shop and asking them to take a look under there.

I have a 1986 Firebird, over 250,000 miles on it, and just rebuilt the whole front suspension. (250,000 miles of grease makes for a nasty job.) I used Suspension Techniques (by http://www.belltech.com ) v6 f-body lowering springs, part number 60115, from shox.com. The car sits pretty darn low now... I'm still getting used to it.

Here's a picture, before & after.

Yeah, something's definately wrong back there. A body shop should even be able to check it out; they deal with suspension all the time from accidents.

And I should've mentioned in my message; the Suspension techniques springs are the ONLY ones made for 2.8/3.1 82-92 f-bodies.

Wow!! Yeah, something's definately wrong, dude... better go to a shop and have 'em look it over. You had those springs installed? They might not've used the correct insulators for the tops of the springs, or installed the springs strangely... or used the wrong springs, etc... let us know what you find out! Hey what size tires are on the car? Are they super-small?
