disc brake help

ok, disc brakes.


got the caliper off, pads off, transfered the clip to the new pads, ...how do i compress this round thing that the back pad connects to, so itll fit on the disc

Transmission: 5 speed
Put your old disk pad over the ring then use a "C" clamp. Twist the clamp making sure that it centered. It will slowly compress.

ok well that worked...now why wont these lil 1 inch spacers fit...i got higher performance pads...do i need smalled spacers or whatever these 2 one inch long circular things are.....

the pads go on the disc perfectly....so whats the deal with these lil spacers not letting the caliper set on the holes right....]

theres a lil rubber washer in the holes of the caliper...take em out??
