Wonder bird
As I understand things Camaros have a steering brace from the factory - a wonder bar. Firebirds came with beefer shocks and no wonder bar.
My question is - Is it timw to hit the yards and nab a wonder bar from a 'maro and slap it on my bird?

Yes you should definitely pick one up and not tear your subframe to shreds around the steering box.
I also have the TDS piece and I must say it's a much better design than the factory wonderbar. It braces the subframe more directly, instead of just bolting to a bracket which bolts to the subframe. Lon's design also uses a bigger bar and thicker plates than stock.
