my car was stolen, and i need info for repairs
while i was at college my car was stolen, it was mildly striped, including the rims and tires. Its a 87 ws6 with the 16 inch silver crosslaced rims. I liked those rims and was wondering where i could find a replacement and how much they ran. If this is too expensive i need information on how to select a replacement set of rims. such as width, backspacing, and anything else i dont know about. Anyoen have suggestions on a good line of rims? I know the stock rims had differnant size backspacing, will my replacment set need that too? what kind of prices am i looking at? what are some good tires for street use as well. Im in coastal california so i only need to worry about rain. I had a set of pilot xgt's and i liked them. its an everyday driver. Im goin on vacation soon so i may not respond quickly to questions but i apreciate all information given, thank you. Im posting this in the suspension and appearance boards as i beleive it applies to both.
The stock wheels were 16x8 with 4.5" backspacing front and rear, and a +0mm front offset / +16mm rear offset. Stock tires are 245/50/16. Check ebay for a replacement set. Prices can vary but expect to spend about $100 a wheel.

CrazyHawaiian: You say the backspacing is the same, but then say the offset is different. You have got to explain the logic behind this one!
A quick search will show what backspacing people are using on aftermarket wheels.
