Brake light on after bleeding

I bleed all 4 wheels with a mityvac and after I pressed the brake pedel the dash brake light came on and stayed on. There are no visable leaks and on a test drive it seems that only the front brakes are working, also the emergency brake does not work. How do I reset it? My chiltons and haynes manuels say that it is not a servicable part.

Once you get them working right, stomp on them, really hard. It's normal for that light to come on during bleeding.

Yes, that's really all it takes.

brake light like the rear outside brake lights?? or you have that one in the dash...

if its the outside one, the switch under the dash stuck on..

if its the dash one, its probly thinking theres a prob because it sees wierd line pressure when bleeding.....
