SFC's Where do these "tie in" up front

I am thinking about purchasing some SFC's....probably spohn's but I am still figuring that out. But the question I had is does anyone have any pics showing where these things sort of tie into the body/frame rails up front???? I am trying to get a visual as to where these things need to be welded.

Thanks,

I always wondered the same thing, if you look at the sticky someone posted a picture for me and a link to other pic's.

I ended up going with the alston's, they connect much beter imo to the front rail. The spohn's just tie into the frame extensions behind the front wheels and have a extension that welds between the front rails at the trans mount to the sfc's. I was going to have to do some heavy mods to make spohns connect like I wanted.

I did get some pleasent surprises from the install. After putting it up on the lift(roll on type) and drilling bolting and then welding. I roll it off the lift, and I notice the front to rear is actually level now. The car launches better. The steering is more responsive. And it cut down on nose dive during braking. So all in all I lke the alstons. The one thing I like spohns is it connects to the LCA's and not the rear frame rail. This gives for a better suspension point. But I plan on tieing the LCA mount and the rear frame togeter.

Not to mention the handling improvements, the car actually does weight transfer's correctly in hard cornering. I can get the nose down and pull a curve much better now. With alot less sqeal from the tires. After I get the poly bushings installed and my 16" wheels and tires installed. She should handle like shes on rails.

I was afraid that my car wouldn't see a big improvement, my car has always seemed thighter than any other I have driven around here. but I did.

No prob, I am a programmer so I type like 80 wpm, it doesn't take that long to type it out when you type fast LOL. Good luck withe the decision, but any will greatly improve the car.

Here's the driver's side of mine. I made the small piece of extra metal you see to take up space. The passenger side butts up against a small ledge of metal so it's a bit easier to see when you trial fit them.
