Rotating tires on a GTA?

I was curious how I'm supposed to rotate the tires on my GTA? The wheels on the front can only go on the front, and the ones on the back can only fit on the back. I have some nice Yokohama Z rated tires which are one direction tires. Do I have to pull all four wheels off and remove the wheels? That seems like a big pain in the **** to me. Do they even need to be rotated? Matt

You have to dismount & rebalance your tires to do a tire rotation. Yes, its a lot of work and money for one of GM's better ideas . However; if you want proper tire wear the rotation is a MUST DO ITEM. Note! Your directional tires are rotated front to back on the same side and the (front) & (rear) wheels can only be used at those locations.

Tire rotation with the different offset wheels is a pain in the ***.
When I had the GTA wheels on my 86 T/A, I had 4 front wheels on my car, gave it a wider stance and allowed me to rotate front to back.

I just did the same on my 88 Formula, bought an extra set of fronts to mount on the rear. It also gives it a nicer stance as well.

Do you have a pic of how much the front wheels stick out on the rear?

I work at a dealership, so rotating tires only takes time an no $$ for me.
