12 Bolt and LS1 Brakes

My next mod is my rearend on my '92 camaro. Bone stock rearend, 2.73's, peg-leg 7.625" 10 bolt. That's coming out. I'm going to buy a Moser 12 bolt. now, I want to put the LS1 brakes on the rearend. This is for many reasons. Better stopping power, better look, and they will fit better than the original drums.

Am I right in assuming this? whick one will I have to buy to get it to work with the LS1 brakes flawlessly? One more question, will I have to spacers for the stock wheels like with the stock 4th gen rear end into a thirdgen?

I know there will be more questions to answer, so if you guys could please answer some of these questions. I'm sure a lot of people would like to know this, as it seems to be a really good combo in theory.

You could try doing a search or posting a message on the transmission/drivetrain board... seems like this is more of an "axle swap" question then a "brakes" question; and I've seen the 12 bolt mentioned many times over there.

Well, I know the rear would swap in just fine, it's the LS1 brakes I'm pondering. They dould work, but maybe there's something that I'm not seeing.

Only if you have them install the 12bolt style axle flanges w/ "C" clips. I'm not sure you would want to do that. Otherwise they will have to put on the type of flange that would be compatable with the LS1 mounting. They make them to accomodate LT1 brakes, so just ask them.
