sqeeks rattles shakes bumps NOISE

yes i got it all...what can i do...the roads here aren't nice to my car...everytime i'm driving even if its the littlest thingy the car constantly rattles everytime i try to avoid a bump or sewercover and can't it sounds like the car is going to break in half...railroad crossings..holy crap forget it...what can i do? I dont kno the first thing about this stuff, i kno our cars are noisy but there has to be something...is this something with suspension what would sway bars do...ooo, speaking of swaying thats what my car does when it turns, if i make sudden turns...not too extreme just sudden and moderatey sharp the car goes like / \ this (not as extreme however thank ***) is this something with shocks or springs, or what is it...i dont think they ahve ever been replaced,...also what do sway bars do, i've been hearing this alot with our cars. i just want my car to be a bit less noisy and handle better than my 92' sunbird.

You need "SFC's" Sub-frame connector. GM gave us weak bodys so you need to reenforce it with a connector that goes from the front to the rear of the car. Make sure they are welded on. There are serveral the market ,, they average about $200 plus installation.. This is must.. I would also recommend a tower braces and good shocks. Good inexpensive ones are the KYB. Do a search for SFC and you will find lots of information. Good luck.

I agree that SFC would definitely be an asset but check the track bar first. I bought some SFC and was getting ready to purchase some shocks, struts, and new eibach coils. That was until I checked the rear of the car, myself, and noticed that this bar was loose. I had my friend Mike, Meineke, take a look at it and basically it was the original piece that came with my '86 Iroc. I replaced it with a new track bar, $37 at Advance Auto Part. Viola! She squeaks no more! The SFC will probably still go on but that saved me some $$$ since I can now hold off, a little, on the shocks, struts and coils. Hope this helps.
