PS problems

I'm having trouble finding a fitting that the PS return line goes on (it screws in the gear box) I've been to 6 part stores in my area and none have it.. So what I want to do disconect all the PS lines, drain the system and pull the belt off the PS pump. Would there be any problems in doing this? I'm going to replace the gear box anyway (thats where its leaking from) but don't want get stuck some where cause I over looked some little detail..

you need the hydrolic assist so removing the belt isn'ta real option. i believe it's just a standard double flare or double flare isn't it? should be easy to find. i'd swaped around a lot of PS pumps and never had any major problems. i did swap a old pump to a thirdgen and had to cut a old line and flare it and use an adapter to connect a bouble to double flare.
