Drum Brake problem
I was trying to remove the back plate on my 83 when I twisted off one of the 2 small bolts that hold the back plate to the axle. I can't get a drill to it from the back or front of the plate because of clearance in order to use a backout. Any suggestions would be great.
Would the backplate be secure enough with just one of the small bolts and the large top bolt??
thanks,
phil

i am not sure what you mean by "backplate" i have done i drum brakejob once about 4 months ago, but i don't know what stuff is called. if you can remove the item the bakplate goes into (sounds like that would be attached to alot) then pull it use a backout and go from there. if not... ummm time to just by a whole new car jk
