Help!!Is it springtime?
I need to replace springs, and the thing already rides too low. I found Moog replacements for the factory (not lowered). I have one concern. (a little knowledge is a dangerous thing) RPO codes 6DB, 7DB, 8NN, 9NN, say Spring, computer selected, rear, right hand(or left hand, or front) Are the springs different? WTF does this mean?

might be a combo of your springs and struts/shocks that is making your car sit so low. Im not 100% on what all that means, but from what i understand, depending on the engine you got different springs.

The factory picks springs for each corner that match the car's exact weight on that corner.
Of course, they use such crappy springs, within 10,000 miles they're used up. Factory shocks are even worse.
Go ahead and use the Moog replacements. You won't believe the improvement. The correct part # is 5662 IIRC. For the rear you want the CC635. Make sure you put in new shocks and struts, and new front control arm bushings, while they have all that stuff apart anyway.

Shocks are fairly new(less than 5,000 miles), and all bushing have been changed to poly. The rear springs are the problem. The rear sits about 1" lower than the front. Bad case of old age (happens to us all) Thanks for the info. Oh, by the way, these springs have 150,000 miles on them. They're gone.
