Swaybars- Hollow vs. Solid and what sizes came with what years?

hey fellas, well I found a powdercoated red sway bar on ebay for a decent price and i snapped it up. I am going with a red powdercoated look underneath on all suspension components.
My main question was which one is better. What do I have on my 89 iroc? This bar I purchased is 34mm. What size came on the front of my iroc. How about the rear. just trying to get an idea. I am guessing the hollow designs save on weight, but maybe sacrifice peformance/tollerance of the solid design???? Any help would be appreciated fellas

Ed Miller kindly posted a 'laundry list' of information on sway bar sizes available each year etc. Heres a link to that post:-
