I'd like to install new pads on my 1982 TA. The car has 75 thousand miles, and I'm not sure when the the brakes were last tampered with. I was wondering what type of pads I should use. The car is daily driven, in Wisconsins winter and summer.

those are the pads i had dumped for the raybestos, nice kit crap pads!!!! Do not get these!! they suck cold and they suck hot. They went away on me suddenly twice. The second time could have been a disaster! Once again do not buy these!!

i second the raybestos brute stops. i have them on my car now for 8 months and not 1 squeel under any braking conditions. they also have a good response.

I would go with the Raybestus semi-met. I work at pepboys and my boss said that the brute-stops tear up rotors real quick. I dunno if its true but its wut i heard

I use Bendix semi-met's, part # MKD-154.

While you're doing the brakes, re-pack the wheel bearings too. I repack mine at every pad change.
